A MILTON KEYNES tradesman is trusting Blue Circle products to lift his one-man business to new heights.

Landscaper Ollie Maslin relies on Blue Circle Mastercrete and Postcrete to ensure his building work is on song in the booming Buckinghamshire market.

Mr Maslin specialises in landscaping, fencing and gardening with the latter more prominent in the summer months.

Mr Maslin said trust and reliability were fundamentals for products he chose to use on site.

“It might be a bit more expensive, but you know you’re not going to get big clumps of cement that way,” he said.

“I never have an issue with Blue Circle. The bags are so tough as well, they can take (a lot).

“Postcrete sets so fast when I’m using it and I can mix up some Mastercrete, use it to set pavers and it’ll be set the next day when I come to check.”

Mr Maslin started his business with a close friend after more than a decade working in a snowboard shop.

He became sole owner after buying out his friend’s share in the firm.

“I did the kind of work I’m doing now with my old man for a while, as he owns a few properties, and you know how dads are always encouraging you to do your own business,” Mr Maslin said.

“The opportunity came up to start my own business four years ago and I haven’t looked back. When you have your own business, you have do everything… but I’ve been cracking on my own and that suits me well.”
