Step 1
Prepare the Damaged Area
Break out the
damaged/failed mortar and affected bricks.
Remove any loose material and clean the area
using the brush. Remove any old mortar from
bricks that will be reused.
Step 2
Mix the Mortar
Mix the Blue Circle Mastercrete Cement according to the instructions on the bag
using a bucket or mixing board. Make sure the
mix is of even colour and consistency.
Step 3
Making the repair
Lay the new mortar as
required to replace the bricks. Finish the repair
using the pointing tool and cover with plastic
sheeting for at least 24 hours to allow to cure fully.
Clean your tools promptly after finishing to prevent any material from hardening on them.
