Pressure grouting; in which a pumpable fluid is injected into soil or rock formations to change the physical characteristics of the formation, is used in a multitude of applications. Injection of these fluids into cracks, voids, cavities and holes can reduce the flow of seepage through a foundation; strengthen a foundation or assist tunnelling and mining by reducing water inflow.
