Remember to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves and safety glasses, when working with cement. Additionally, always check and follow the specific instructions provided by the Blue Circle cement manufacturer. Using our guidance is your own responsibility.

Step 1

Prepare the Damaged Area
Break out the damaged/failed mortar and affected bricks. Remove any loose material and clean the area using the brush. Remove any old mortar from bricks that will be reused.

Step 2

Mix the Mortar
Mix the Blue Circle Mastercrete Cement according to the instructions on the bag using a bucket or mixing board. Make sure the mix is of even colour and consistency.

Step 3

Making the repair
Lay the new mortar as required to replace the bricks. Finish the repair using the pointing tool and cover with plastic sheeting for at least 24 hours to allow to cure fully.

Clean your tools promptly after finishing to prevent any material from hardening on them.
